Stand Up?!

This session consisted of having a stand-up meeting where we had to discuss what actions we plan to go ahead with when meeting the client next week. We also had to talk about the potential obstacles are impending our progress. All we had to do was stand up with our groups and talk but this felt like such an effort for a Monday morning.

We discussed with Mark about the information that we have learned on the legislation behind tipping, and he pointed out that there are going to be many risks involved with our project and about when we go out to educate businesses on Gratuu.

We spoke about HMRC legislation on tipping and found that no-one in our class even know about that charges that come with receiving a tip. Dale explained about the charges that are involved on an individual level, but also if you are a company owner, and many faces in the class looked intrigued or confused, just as we felt when Renate was describing these all to our group of 5.

We hope to find out many more relevant facts about tipping, to help us progress and grow with our project. We identified that as a good we have a strength with our communication, but the knowledge that we know on what is expected of us for the task is weak.
