Well, we have found out...

We had been given a few pointers on how to improve: one being that our presentation could have been more visual.... something we need to improve.

We have not been given our desired project i-Com, we have been given the project for the company Gratuu instead and honestly, we are all gutted.

After much research in to what Gratuu is all about, we now know that their aim for us is to raise awareness to representatives from the food and service industries (restaurant owners and hairdressers) and to create a strong brand community and following with their new app. The company also wants us to establish and create staff engagement strategies and to grow online.

Their new app is all about eliminating the embarrassing stage when in a restaurant and customers do not know whether to tip the waiters or not, or what amount to give. Their aim is to allow a customer to send a tip straight in to the waiters banks account. I do believe that this could be beneficial for a waiter, especially if they have been working very hard all shift to please their customers, however what if more than one waiter served a table that night? What if the service was equally shared, but the tips were not? Would that be fair? I believe that it is risky having your bank details online, so I am not entirely confident that all waiters would want to sign up to this app, even if it does mean that they can receive more tips at the end of a shift.

We have some serious thinking to do regarding the questions we want to ask Gratuu.
