This week was all based around pitching to our tutors about a brief that we believe we would be great at being set, for a real life agency on the outside world. We chose a company called i-Com, which is a digital agency that wants to build their online presence on the social platform that is Instagram. They want help to improve their following on the platform by 5000 followers or more. As each of us in our group have Instagram ourselves and use it on a daily basis, we all believe that we can gain this amount of followers and keep them engaged on the platform with sponsored posts.

11:20 am came and it was our time to pitch.....
I believe our pitch went relatively well, to be honest I was so nervous, to the point where you could see that I was physically shaking, but we all spoke very clear and loud so that nobody misinterpreted any information we had delivered. Personally I think that we did quite well with this presentation, as we managed to talk about statistics that we had found about Instagram activities, such as peak times that would be effective to post on, to show to them that we will go out of our way to gather important knowledge, but we also did not crack under pressure when one of the tutors asked us a question based on our findings. This made us look solid and confident as a group.
As we were able to watch a handful of presentations before ours, we were able to pick up a few tips from them about the time span, however I think that our presentation was still quite rushed. As a whole group, I think all five of us will be disappointed if we do not get the desired brief, however we were able to write down the next five we would feel confident enough to complete, but who knows? We'll find out next week I suppose.
