Session Two:

With the difficult 9am start, which every University student will agree on, we immediately started with work. Todays task was to take a Belbin test in order to find out what are top three Belbin Roles we possess. My 3 were the implementer, plant and a shaper roles. This will be due to the fact that I am a confident and driven individual, but one of my weaknesses is that I am prone to provocation as I am quick tempered.

Once finding out our roles, we then had to be put in to teams of 3-5 individuals, with a variety of roles, in order to be able to start the next task. "A team is easily defined as a group of people working together" Robbins and Finley (2000). The team that I was in then started to discuss ideas about which client brief we would like to pitch for, however it did take us a solid ten minutes to collective agree on a company to choose. We then began researching information on the chosen group (i-Com) and had decided which individuals would speak about which topic in the pitch. With only one week to prepare we all began to feel the pressure, but all felt confident enough.

Hopefully we do well, fingers crossed!
